The Wakemans Song

CD to be launched on the market square Saturday 12th July.

The CD of the 'Wakemans Song' by local folk singer Barry Sellers is to be launched on Ripon market square at 11-30 am to 1-30 pm on Saturday 12th July. The CD also includes a narration to background music on the history of the 'Wakeman' and of the ancient ceremony of 'Setting the Watch' by George Pickles the Ripon Hornblower. Barry will be giving live performances during the launching and both he and George will be signing all CD's bought on the day. The price of the CD's will be £5-00 each and after production costs have been recovered all proceeds will be shared amongst local charities.
